Julia and I have enjoyed 30 years of creating and building things together.  We built our most recent family home during the COVID pandemic of 2020.  Of course, we weren’t planning for a pandemic, but as it turned out, the timing was perfect.  While the leading “experts” were demanding that everyone hibernate indoors and enjoy more screen time, we were physically working hard outdoors and enjoying natural sunlight.  We simply did not have time for a pandemic or the desire to wait around for the leading “experts” to save us.

Instead, we created an opportunity for my teenage son, Brayden, to experience hard work for the first time in his youthful years.  The Build Something Big website was created to also inspire other parents to build something big, like a house, with their children to cultivate grit, practical life skills, and character.  If you’re interested in watching us overcome some big challenges during home construction, highlights are being reposted on our website; however, we have moved on to something bigger.

We recently came to the practical conclusion that asking a parent to build a home with their teenager(s) was too much to ask, mostly because much of America is sick.  With 60% of Americans experiencing chronic disease, making America healthy again may be our biggest challenge in the 21st century of advanced medicine.

We are building a team of healthy influencers to unite and inspire others to help reverse the upward trend of chronic disease by using a more holistic approach.  Now more than ever, we must question our guidance from authoritative “experts”, as their track record for fixing epidemics is not good, and their advice is always influenced by corporate profits.

Our team of influencers are inspired by the power of money and the desire to help others with their nutritional needs and their financial growth.  The 20 year old company that we are passionately aligned with is Isagenix.  It is the fuel for our growth, and it offers many natural solutions for healing.  We will be posting beneficial advice from Isagenix scientists and associates, and we also hope to provide short video blogs of practical help and healthy tips for navigating through the overwhelming abundance of information that bombards our lives daily.
